Who We Are

Safe Place, Inc. is the only non-profit domestic violence & rape crisis program serving people in Moore, Dallam, Hartley, and Sherman counties, an area of 42,000 square miles with a population of over 35,000 people.   We provide survivors and their children with emergency shelter, clothing, food, crisis counseling, support groups, educational classes, advocacy, access to local and state resources, and many other things.  (See our "Services" page for a complete list of services we provide.)

We also work to increase awareness about and reduce the incidence of domestic violence and sexual assault by giving prevention-based educational classes to the general public and participating in a variety of community outreach events.
